T. Parker

T. Parker is a professor, researcher, business owner, and parent who somehow manages to juggle academia, entrepreneurship, and a deep love for experimenting in the kitchen. They teach music at Longwood University, where their research focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion in music education—specifically, how critical feminism shapes instrumental music teacher preparation programs. When they’re not knee-deep in research or running Alliance Fitness, their community-driven gym, you can probably find them covered in flour, obsessing over the perfect sourdough rise or rolling pasta like an Italian nonna in training.

As a parent, they believe in the magic of homemade food (and the necessity of strong coffee). They’re excited to share their passion for sourdough and pasta at Red Door 104, helping others master the art of fermentation, gluten, and maybe a little bit of kitchen chaos.
